The War Doctor

For eight years the Time War happened off screen. Then a man in a barn with a weapon that had a conscience got a face, a number the Doctor would not say out loud, and one feature-length outing.

Short thread, deliberately. It runs from the war leaning on the door, through the reveal that there was a Doctor nobody mentions, to the day itself and the regeneration that squares the count.
