A New Hope: Still Staring at Those Two Suns
A fan’s rewatch of Star Wars: A New Hope, from Luke at the twin suns to Han’s return over the Death Star, and the genre it started for a generation.

My Solo review: a good movie and good to see Han’s intro, but I didn’t need everyone’s backstory. 3 out of 5.
My The Force Awakens review: very slightly better than the prequels, with a good new cast, but the Disney money shows. 2.5 out of 5.
My Return of the Jedi review: the Ewoks put people off but I loved it, from Han’s rescue to Endor to Vader and the Emperor. Better than Empire for me.
My The Empire Strikes Back review: the Hoth battle, Luke and the wampa, Yoda, Cloud City and Vader’s reveal. One of the darkest endings ever. 10 out of 5.
